CUBA
I travelled to Havana in November 2019 to experience the city-wide celebration of Cuba's 500th anniversary. such a mixture and fusion of cultures, races, and religions that have left an indelible mark on its cosmopolitan make-up. Again energy played a big part as l relentlessly pursued, street by street, the craziness and colour of their parties. The iconic cars and Cuban cigar were everywhere. I found some hidden gems as l interacted with the old and new. But it was the crumbling buildings that grabbed me most.
